Vorsteiner Tailors 911 Turbo !!
Vorsteiner sounds very German, but it’s a Californian based aftermarket styling specialist, and have they’ve just done a superb job on the latest 911 Turbo.
The aim of Vorsteiner’s styling package is to improve the Turbo’s aerodynamics and high-speed stability, inadvertently styling has benefitted aesthetically too.
The 997 V-RT package compromises a carbon-fibre front bumper (framed by a removable lower front spoiler) with enlarged air intakes, a new duct for the centre radiator vent and a remoulded rear bumper, featuring larger side intercooler extraction vents.
All in all Vorsteiner claims 35% better airflow. All you loose are the front fog-lamps, which are removed to accommodate the new spoiler.
A carbon-fibre rear diffuser accommodates quad performance exhaust tips. Vorsteiner offers seven-spoke, bespoke alloy wheels too, sized in either 19- or 20-inches, which hide the optional 8-piston Brembo brake callipers.
Ensuring the highest technical standards, Vorsteiner uses only temperature vacuumed carbon-fibre and vacuumed polymers, which means it might be plastic, but sure isn’t cheap…
